My favorite place
If I'm feeling stuck or lacking inspiration, I prefer to go to The Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen. It's not a museum, but a unique art depot where more than 151,000 artworks are stored. From paintings to antique furniture and from sculptures to video installations. You can't imagine it, but you'll come across it in The Depot.
You name it, you'll find it at The Depot.
Although there are no fixed exhibitions, there is always something to discover. Visitors get a behind-the-scenes look, see restorations in action, and can wander through the impressive collection themselves. Presentations and events also change constantly. This keeps a visit surprising and dynamic, with new stories and artworks to admire each time.
